for whatever reason, i am fascinated by the design of these light fixtures that are located outside place des arts. maybe it's because you wouldn't see something like this in vancouver.

yesterday evening, i went for walk. i went to rue st-denis for the just for laughs comedy festival. in true montreal style, there was a myriad of dazzling coloured lights, costumed characters on stilts, one of a kind street acts, and joyous laughter. i enjoyed it so much, that i plan to go again later this week.

a complete accident, i captured this shot on my way there.

for my birthday, i purchased a camera called fisheye2. the lens has a 170-degree field of view. i tried it out this weekend and here are the results.
